Centro Energia Teverola S.p.a is a company owned by Foster Wheeler Italiana S.p.A. – 42% and ENDESA EUROPA S.L. – 58%.
Set up in 1993, the company scope is the development, construction and operation of the Combined Cycle Plant located in the municipality of Teverola (CE).
The Combined Cycle Plant in Teverola generates 150 MW. The steam is exported to the Merloni facility and the electric power is sold to the national grid. The fuel is natural gas.
The power plant mainly consists of two gas turbines Ansaldo-Siemens V64.3, two Foster Wheeler Heat Recovery Steam Generators, one ANSALDO steam turbine, one air condenser and Cycle auxiliaries.
Constructed by Foster Wheeler Italiana under a turn key contract, the plant is in commercial operation since 1997.
