In particular, it has been developed a specific know-how to remediate wide areas contaminated, as refineries and petrochemical plants. In these cases the approach is to start with the implementation of mitigation measures, in order to avoid that the contamination could spread around further. Subsequent phases provide activities of assessment, design of remediation measures, installation of remediation systems or plants and management of such remediation activities, up to the completion of the works due certified by the relevant Public Authorities and final release of the site. During all these phases the assurance of technical support to the client in the relationships with Public Authorities is of paramount importance, and it is one of the most important reliability issues of the Environment group
