The Company
FW Power S.r.l. is an independent power company, fully owned by Foster Wheeler Italiana S.p.A, operating in the development, design, construction and operation of power generation facilities from renewable sources.
Established in 2001, the main company's focus is the production of electricity using wind energy.

- Basic design
- Permitting & other regulatory approvals
- Financing
- Ownership and asset management
The portfolio of projects includes two plants located in Campania Region: a 22,5 MW wind farm in operation in Vallesaccarda Municipality and a 32 MW wind farm, still under construction, in Scampitella Municipality, both of which financed trough a “limited recourse” project financing scheme.
Currently other projects in southern Italy (Basilicata, Calabria and Sardegna) are under different stages of development.
Safeguarding of the environment and protecting peoples’ safety are top priorities for FW Power. The Environmental and Safety Policy document states the commitment of the company towards acting in an environmentally responsible and safe way.
The environmental management system (EMS) has been implied in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard and CE n.761/01 (EMAS II) regulations, created to manage the plant's environmental and safety issues, in the most efficient and responsible way.
