Power
Foster Wheeler Italiana’s Power group combines highly skilled persons acting in the following tasks:
- Develop basic design of Power Generation projects and provide support to Contract Operations for detailed engineering, construction and operation
- Promote and develop initiatives involving Foster Wheeler Italiana, not only as EPC contractor, but also as owner and operator, solely or in association with other companies (BOO – Build, Own and Operate - projects).
Foster Wheeler Italiana references include power plants, from different sources, fossil and renewable, by means of conventional and innovative technologies.
Power group activities range on different areas as:
- Development of new technical solutions, feasibility and optimization studies, site identification, environmental impact studies, basic and detailed plant design
- Development of the above mentioned BOO Projects utilizing FWI technical and financial expertise to handle all the activities necessary for permitting and project financing
- Management of BOO plants carried out by qualified and skilled staff, strictly linked with the Power group to improve its technical background by lessons learnt application.
