The information systems and software procedures used to operate this web site acquire, during the course of their normal run, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the Internet communication protocol. These data are used with the only purpose to get anonymous statistic information about the use of the site and to check its correct operation.
The information is not gathered in order to be associated to identified interested parties, however, - by its own nature - it might enable, by means of processing and connection with data held by third parties, the identification of the users. The italian law 196/03 “Italian personal data protection code” shall ensure that the processing of personal data is carried out by respecting the rights, fundamental freedoms and dignity of natural persons, particularly with regard to privacy and personal identity; it shall further ensure the protection of the rights of legal persons and of any other body or association.

In pursuance of this Law 196/03 and subject to the purposes deriving from the future legislative and jurisprudential Directives, we, the "owner", according to the law, inform you that the personal data already acquired or supplied by you are collected, recorded and kept in the data bank “Customers master” of FWI, in order to issue our services invoices. Your data are collected during precontractual negotiations to fulfil obligations contractual, accounting, administrative and fiscal and treatment using manual and computerized mode.

The aforesaid data will be handled with the utmost diligence and they will be only communicated within the Company organization.

The data will be updated in the proper and complete way; they will be kept in accordance with the procedures and the time requirements contemplated in article 11 of the said Law.

In accord to the Artts. 24 letts. a) and b) and 26 lett. d) of the D. Lgs. n. 196/2003, the finalities mentioned above allow the treatment without specific consent for a correct use by customers.

The treatment doesn't have for object the sensitive data or judicial nature of

Articles. 4 and 22 of Decree 196/03. If, for specific reasons during our relations, the need to acquire these data, it will be our care to ask you for specific authorization.

According to article 11, you are not bound to supply us these data, but an eventual refusal on your part may prevent the correct and complete implementation of our services.

You have the right, in accordance with article 7, to have access to cancel, correct, update, integrate and oppose the processing of these same data.

The Data Controllers, domiciled for the purposes of this act in the Company's offices, are :

Section 7
(Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights)

1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.

2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed

a) of the source of the personal data;

b) of the purposes and methods of the processing;

c) of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;

d) of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the

    representative designated as per Section 5(2);

e) of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be

communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain

a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;

b) erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully,

including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;

c) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

4. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part,

a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.

The aforesaid data will be handled with the utmost diligence, and they will be only communicated within the Foster Wheeler Group, to clients, to the auditing companies, to the banks of Foster Wheeler Group and to other external persons that develop activities related to posting, transmission and sorting of correspondence and information systems processing, on behalf of FWI.

The data will be updated in the proper and complete way; they will be kept in accordance with the procedures and the time requirements contemplated in the article 11 of the said Law.

According to article 11, you are not bound to supply us these data, but an eventual refusal on your part may prevent the correct and complete implementation of our services.
